BioBorn 1501 to Thomas Boleyn and Lady Elizabeth Howard, Anne was trained from a young age to grasp and try to hold onto as much power as she could. She served as a maid of honour to Regent Margaret of France in the French court when she was a teenager, before returning home to England to take her place in the English Court. She caught the eye of King Henry VIII while serving as his wife’s lady-in-waiting.
